Biaxial Tensile

Contact Us

In collaboration with Professor Dr. Richard Leask from the Leask Laboratory at McGill (, Professor Dr. Elena Di Martino from the Univercity of Calgary and the help of the National Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC –, we have built an open and flexible Biaxial tensile specifically position for tissues.

The system allows for displacement by force or distance with a precision in the µm and impeccable repeatability. You have the option to build your own displacement profile or use a default profile. It is also possible to add a camera in order to constantly track, measure and monitor the specimen through the experiment.
